Organized Party Planning

Fall always seems to be a busy time of the year for me. So far, this time of year hasn't proven me any different. Currently, I have been extremely busy researching, planning and developing ideas for my daughter's 7th birthday party. The party will take place in early November, so I'm running out of time to get everything completed. I am the type of person that really hates being rushed to get things done. Personally, I feel it is imperative to have ample time to both plan and be able to carry out a successful party.

Through the midst of trying to get planning accomplished and juggle everything else in my life, I have been anything but organized with the party details. I'll come up with an idea and scribble it onto a spare piece of paper, or maybe add a new note in my phone, then I'll forget about it. Talk about frustrating! I knew I needed to sit down and get my thoughts together and organized. I could of course type out my plans for the party, but for me that wouldn't suffice. Because, I know I'll forget something or change something eventually. Which would mean, I would need to reprint the sheet several times, which I really do not want to have to do. Instead, I wanted a Party Planning Worksheet to give me the "foundation" to get my party ideas recorded.

Yes, I know that there are many existing Party Planning Worksheets available. However, what I have seen didn't quite have the sections that I wanted. Therefore, I decided to draft up a quick version of my own. It's very simple but certainly serves its purpose. I wanted to share it here for you all to use as well. Just click on the text above and you will be able to download the worksheet. I'm going to be sharing more elaborate planning sheets in the near future so stay tuned for those. Until then, I really hope this will help you get more organized with your planning and events as well.
